I love the challenge: How do you make a photo say ‘rain’ in an inspiring way? It isn’t easy. This shot was taken as evening was drawing in, and the rain had not long started. The old buildings (once stables, with accommodation for grooms and other staff) seemed to combine with the weather and time of day to give a moody, but intriguing effect.
It's kind to share!12 thoughts on “My Sunday Photo: 16 August 2015”

This might sound draft, but it’s almost as of the building is sad. It’s like the rain has given it a personality
A gloomy and rainy afternoon – looks like an interesting building though.
Rain can be cool, I love the effect you have here
Definitely a moody effect! There has been way too much rain this week.
The rain definitely works. It’s quite a dreary spot actually, isn’t it? What a dim place to put living accomodation! I’d be screaming out for sunshine and natural light. #MySundayPhoto
A very moody looking photo…..It looks so sad and gloomy there x
This looks a very interesting building.
Thank you for linking up
There’s something very though provoking about gloom. Great photo
you need to visit on a sunny day and let us know if the building looks any happier
Moody indeed! This is a hard photo challenge but I think you pulled it of. A lovely shot =) #mysundayphoto
