I’m just taking a few moments to post this photo, taken only today. What impressed me as I ventured out just a short way was the amazing sunlight. Although this picture isn’t particularly to do with Christmas, it did remind me of what the real message is about – the light of the world. It's kind to share!
I was frantically looking for something even slightly festive for today’s picture. Sadly, the holly had no berries, and its leaves were only wet, instead of decked with snow. Then I found this. It has the rather imposing name of gaultheria procumbens. To you or me, that’s boxberry, eastern teaberry, or American wintergreen. That last name, I think, is quite a bit Christmassy. And the snow? We’ll just have to wait and see…It's kind to share!
Once again, I’m illustrating the effects of our recent strange weather patterns. This beech hedge would normally remain dormant until spring, but yesterday I noticed these buds had appeared. What will happen to them next? I don’t know…It's kind to share!
Today I wanted a cheery picture for the tail end of autumn, and I spotted the effect of sunshine on this pelargonium flower. The reflection in the window glass behind it gives an artistic feel – this was quite accidental! It's kind to share!
