I took this shot only today. Out in the countryside, I happened to notice The way the sunlight was lighting up what appears to be a kind of clearing in this wooded area (this photo was taken from some distance away.) At this time of year, there are often interesting effects like this, due to the low angle of the sun’s rays. It's kind to share!
Today I wanted a cheery picture for the tail end of autumn, and I spotted the effect of sunshine on this pelargonium flower. The reflection in the window glass behind it gives an artistic feel – this was quite accidental! It's kind to share!
When I spotted this tree only today, I wanted to grab some pictures quickly! I thick it’s lovely to find such beauty in what can often be a sad part of the year. Notice that one leaf that is partly yellow; has another leaf been resting just over it, I wonder? It's kind to share!
Venturing outside today I came across these very pretty but highly poisonous berries that remind us that the back end of the year has come round again! The leaves and stems of the yew plant are also poisonous. however, some birds eat the berries, the poisonous seed passing through them intact! It's kind to share!
The only thing remarkable about this photo from last week is… exactly that! It was taken last Monday, and this begonia in a hanging basket showed no signs of withering. A little bit more ‘Indian summer’ yet, maybe? It's kind to share!
Quite often, pictures really are about noticing the moment, and recording the beauty. This water drop, hanging from a seed-head, arrested my attention one morning this week. For this picture, I’ve cropped down the original image, leaving enough background to harmonise with the reflection in the droop itself. It's kind to share!
