This shot was taken just too late to be last Sunday’s picture. I’ve shown this flower on here before, but I don’t recall lungwort being in flower this early, as a rule. It seems that just a few hours of mild weather can make such a difference!
Hang on in there… I think spring might be coming! The first purple bud never fails to thrill me, every year!
I found this in my father’s garden. It seemed to say “New life, new hope.” it is, of course, the shrub that gives those heady-scented purple flowers of which I am so fond!
I just found this on a log at the side of my garden. Beauty in nature takes so many forms!
