I didn’t expect to be posting any more pictures like this, this year, but I found this last solitary bloom in my father’s garden, just a day or two ago. I never tire of indigo and magenta, somehow. I made it look like summer was leaving with quiet dignity.

I see these as the last of summer with their vibrant colours, I don’t want them to end.
I love your description of summer leaving with quiet dignity. Must say, I have seen no such blooms but thus far autumn has been so mild there must be a few out there. #MySundayPhoto
I am in a watercolor class and this is actually something I could maybe paint. The simple-ish composition and the gradated color. I’ll keep you posted!
So good to see flowers still hanging on and giving us some colour
Thank you for linking up

Beautiful flowers still surprise us with their bloom #mysundayphoto
Beautiful!
I used to love these ballerinas as a child
I am so surprised as well to see flowers still blooming in here too. I love this flower too… the colours are just so alive and vivid! #mysundayphoto
